FRP meeting 2021: Human rights work in challenging times – ways forward

Sessions

The event will explore how civil society organisations can contribute to overcoming the human rights challenges that we are facing in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis. Civil society organisations will host the breakout sessions, which form the core of the FRP meeting. All participants are strongly invited to contribute actively.

The sessions will explore lessons learned around how activists have dealt with concrete challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact. Participants will discuss concrete ways forward, conditions of success, and possible recommendations for policymakers. A breakout session will last 60 minutes.

Key lessons and concrete messages for policymakers will then be shared in a dialogue with a high-level EU and international panel.
